Independent business website
Rekha Maa Ki Rasoi — Food Business Website
Rekha Maa Ki Rasoi began as a homemade-food business idea proposed by my mother. We shaped the meal plans and pricing together, and I turned the idea into a live digital experience by owning its information architecture, visual direction, copy, responsive design and WordPress/Elementor delivery.

01 / Project context
Turning a homemade-food idea into a clear digital experience.
The website had to make a new homemade-food offer easy to understand: who it was for, what each plan included, how ordering worked and where to enquire.
Shaped together
The offer- Business idea
- Proposed by my mother
- Meal plans and pricing
- Decided together
From there, how the offer was structured, presented and published online was my responsibility.
Owned by me
The websiteExperience design
I planned the information architecture, section sequence, navigation, CTA placement and responsive page layouts.
Brand and content
I chose the dark-teal and yellow visual direction, typography and brand treatment, created the favicon, wrote the website copy and captured the original food photography.
Implementation and delivery
I set up WordPress, customized a premium-theme foundation in Elementor, configured forms and plugins, connected the domain and hosting, and deployed the finished site.
02 / Customer journey
A one-page path from discovery to enquiry
I structured the page so visitors can understand the offering before they are asked to commit. Each section resolves the next practical question, with contact actions available at key decision points.
- 01 / Discover
What is the service?
- 02 / Evaluate
Is it relevant to me?
- 03 / Compare
Which plan and price fit?
- 04 / Understand
How does ordering work?
- 05 / Review
What meals are included?
- 06 / Enquire
How do I get started?
03 / Design decisions
Practical choices shaped around the buying journey.
Use a warm but structured visual identity
I selected a dark-teal base, warm yellow accents and the typography. The dark base gives the long page a consistent frame, while the accents and original food photographs keep the offering visible and approachable.

Put plan comparison in the main journey
Daily, weekly and monthly options, with standard and premium meal choices, appear before the ordering process. Visitors can compare commitment, inclusions and price before contacting the business.
- Plan length
- DailyWeeklyMonthly
- Meal choice
- StandardPremium
Answer trust and practical questions before enquiry
Benefits, audience fit, ordering steps, menu details, food imagery and FAQs appear before the final booking area. A testimonial-style interface section supports the page sequence, but its demo content is not used as business evidence in this case study.
Repeat the action path at decision points
Variants of the same enquiry goal appear near the proposition, plans and booking content, so visitors do not need to return to a single action placed only at the end of the page.
04 / Responsive design
One hierarchy, adapted for desktop and mobile.
The same pricing section on two screens. The content and its order stay fixed; only the layout changes.
Desktop · 1440px
Plans compared side by side.
On wide screens the pricing section uses the full width, so visitors can compare every plan without scrolling between them.
What changes
- Three plan cards sit in one row
- The most popular plan is highlighted in the centre
- The Standard and Premium switch sits above all plans
- Every plan keeps its own booking action
- Multi-column grid
- Side-by-side comparison

05 / Implementation
Built and published with WordPress and Elementor.
A premium WordPress theme provided the foundation. Everything built on top of it, through to the live launch, was my work.
Provided
Premium WordPress theme
The starting technical and design foundation for the site.
Customization
Theme foundation and Elementor
I used a premium WordPress theme as the technical and design foundation, then built and customized the business-specific page structure, visual treatment and content in Elementor.
Layouts
Responsive page construction
I created the desktop and mobile layouts in Elementor, adapting columns, plan cards, typography, imagery, navigation and enquiry controls for narrower screens.
Launch
Publishing and operations
I handled the WordPress and theme setup, forms and plugins, domain and hosting configuration, and deployment of the current live website.
06 / The interface
Selected views from the live website.
The booking area on desktop, and two sections as they appear on phones.

Desktop
Booking and direct contact
The final conversion area combines a structured enquiry form with direct contact options.

Mobile
Benefits
Benefit cards pair food imagery with a short reason to choose the service.

Mobile
Ordering steps
The four ordering steps read top to bottom, from enquiry to daily delivery.
07 / What I delivered
From an early business idea to a live enquiry path.
Designed and published a responsive single-page website that explains the food-service idea, presents plan options and guides visitors toward enquiry.
